corsa let exhaust

hi guys, new to forum but after a bit of advise, just put my let in my corsa at the weekend, doin the exhaust next week but i was just going to put a side pipe straight out of the passengers side, is this legal and will it pass a m.o.t

As long as it still involves the CAT (if it needs one post '92 I think), doesn't leak, and has some form of muffling (e.g. a backbox or silencer) I don't see a problem.

Although you might want to consider the fact that it is a really short run of pipe, which might make it sound a bit weedy and tinny.

Go to an exhaust specialist and ask for ideas, they'll know best.

if you want a side exit exhaust then try and get it by the back wheel some one here has just done one s ask him aswell

but it will most likely have to have a cat in what car did the engine come out of and what reg was it

i've got a 2.5" corsa let exhaust for sale....not side exit though.
