sweet, it failed
guy who did it was an idiot not the usual bloke who does them who is sound and you can have a chat with, oh well.

both front headlamp aim too low
exhaust blowing
exhaust too loud
both rear wheel bearings have excessive play
mcpherson strut needs a tiny bit of welding
also failed high idle emissions test because it was blowing

booked it in friday to be fixed and re tested

they can bugger off about the exhaust being to loud as they were the ones who fitted it for me, it was just that guy because he only does 1 day a week there i think

Price mostly i guess, i was looking at a 1.7cdti and a 1.8 both sri
think they were 54/05 plates, one sold before i could get to it and the other was too high mileage.

if your looking at the c's definately look at the 1.7cdti sri, 0-60 in less than 10 secs and 65 to the gallon...

xe1 is very tempting, need to find a scrapped veccy or astra that i can see running local.

there is a full redtop conversion on ebay for £500 and ive just got a £600 bonus through from my uni, tempting much....

Been considering the CDTi but I don't know if i could get over not having a decent sounding petrol, Unless i'm missing somethign and with the right system it doesn't sound like a tractor

DIfferent btu good sound would be ohrite the rest of the figures put it right at the top of the list ..
After that it would be a chipped 1.4 sri running throttle bodies =/
Running costs of the 1.8 are a put off

£500? So tempting you should get it, too good a price to miss!
