project VXR

right fort id start a project thread as iv started to slowly mod my car.
first pics i have of the car the day i paid for it had to wait 2 weeks to collect it tho.

the cars a september 57 plate with 19's an afl had 10200 miles on it when i picked it up around the begining of march.got it home an couldnt keep it standard for long the afternoon i picked it up i debadged it removed vauxhall an astra off the boot just leaving vxr.

i managed to leave it alone for a couple of weeks but got bord an wanted to sstart changing things. so off i went an got the windows tinted only got a light smoke didnt want it to look chavy.

whilst out washing the car i decided i didnt like the red R's on the vxr badges so got some bits from work an changed the R's to blue.

the car has afl so the lights are really white but the side lights are yellow which has buged me since i got the car.but i couldnt just stick white led side lights in due to them being to low voltage so the car would think the bulbs blown an cut the power to that bulb.so i started searching for some that would work with the cars system an found some 501 fitment tower leds.it has 15 leds per bulb so it will use the same power as standard bulb an not trip the system.

not best pick but you can see the differance

also at the same time as sorting the bulbs i ordered courtenay sport silicon hoses which were fitted at the same time.

future plans are
polished battery cover, fuse box covers an heat shield next few weeks.
rear anti roll bar
full remus system
stage 2 map
ap brakes

il update as it happens slowley lol gota get saving its so much more expensive to mod than the corsa.

I'm liking it. IMO get the rear ARB next, you will notice the difference.
