My speedo bulbs are really dim. I thought it was because I've got white dials and that it was blocking the light, but when i took off the panel and turned the ignition on, the warning bulbs were all really bright and the speedo bulbs were quite dim.

I'm curious, can you swap the warning bulbs with the speedo bulbs or are they completely different?

Off the top of my head the warning light bulbs are code 1.2w bulbs (code 286). The instrument panel bulbs are 2w (I think - can't remember the code) - maybe someone has put the wrong bulbs in the speedo.

I would like to make the indicator warning lights brighter, and the clicking sound louder, its so easy to miss them and leave them on after turning if your not careful. Its a Corsa C SRi with white dials, and LEDs (I think). My friends Meriva is the same. It is odd that the indicator sound is so quiet, because the other sounds are much louder. I wonder how to go about it.

start a new thread as your more likely to get a more accurate and quicker response, but you could try "ice white" LED's, they would shine brighter than the standard bulbs as the fillament gives off an orange glow so the light is not as white/bright

Same as mine, there's a slight red glow to the side of my white dials =( So if I'm running out during the day, I'm knackered...
