kescorsa, I worked it out roughly a couple of weeks back. Spent about £3700 including the car

noshua, Yep there are plans for a engine conversion in the future. Cant afford it at the minute though so it will probably be next year sometime

Thinking about a C16SE Nova GSI engine at the minute. Nothing set it stone yet though.

It cost me £200 to have the front bumper, all four arches, boot spoiler and mirrors to be sprayed

Cars in the bodyshop at the moment. Its had a full bumper respray after some idiot went into the back of me because he was tailgating

I went down there today to see how it was getting on. Couple of pics off my phone...mmm fresh paint!

Just got to be flattened back then its done. I'm having the bonnet resprayed as well so expecting it back this time next week

Cant wait!

Anyway onto the updates! I got the car back from the bodyshop last week

Very pleased with the work I had done and the car looks so much better for it

Gave it a good clean over the weekend and took some pictures to show the new paintwork

No more dents, stone chips or rust here

No more scratches here!

The only thing thats letting the bodywork down now is the boot which isnt in the best of condition. So I'm getting the wiper and boot lock smoothed off and then repainted next month ready for pvs
