I picked the car up from ebay with the tigra alloys already fitted with new kumho tyres, 59k on the clocks, long MOT and full service history back in february
Here it is a few weeks ago after fitting some M3 mirrors and wiper arms, debadging the doors, back to blacking the bumpers and giving it a clean:
As mentioned here, I'm now going to keep hold of my Atlantis Blue 5 door
When I get back to this car I will start a new project thread as a fresh beginning and because this thread has got really cluttered with other random stuff.
My latest plans for it will be:
Service it (fresh beginning and all, I thought a service would be appropriate)
Fit the Depos
Buy some 5 door Wind Deflectors
Swap suspension back over DONE
Swap wheels back over DONE
Replace some of the blue interior LEDs with white LEDs
Swap dials back over DONE
Swap Vectra courtesy map light back over DONE
Swap aerial back over DONE
Take the seat covers from the 3 door DONE
Generally try and give it a bit of a tidy up to make it a little more subtle and tidy
What a big palava this whole thing has turned out to be!!! Really not looking forward to having to switch all of the suspension on both cars back over again alm: My hands are still filthy with ground in dirt and they have cuts all over them lol.
Look at the bottom of page 22. It still looks just like that, only with slightly different Black angels and black wiper arms. Everything else is the same though
Replace some of the blue interior LEDs for white ones
5 door wind deflectors
New brake discs and pads
Chrome bonnet gas struts
Paint calipers blue and the drums black
Allcorsa sticker
Gaiters
5dr spoiler
Twin backbox
Gloss black scuttle panel
Gloss black door handles
SRi 3 spoke steering wheel
Swap mesh grill for slatted grill
Depos and some other bits have arrived. I am waiting for a white LED festoon bulb for my boot light, some white 509T LEDs for my speedo dials and some xenon white blue coated H4 bulbs for the Depos to be delivered along with some STP Engine Flush.
Once that has all arrived I can crack on with fitting the following:

Just waiting on my pollen filter and K&N panel filter to be delivered and that'll complete the lot I'll probably get round to doing the service and fitting the other bits and pieces in a couple of weeks when term has finished.
The bumper top where I colour coded it...or just the bumper in general?
Because I never really finished the colour coding properly on the front. I ran out of paint and ideally it could have done with another couple of coats and then some more lacquer.
Although I've only just received a new Air Filter in the post...I just managed to pick up a brand new K&N 33-2098 Panel Filter for £14.05 delivered
I've been meaning to get one of these for ages but wasn't really up for spending £30-£35 for one, so I'm happy I've finally managed to get one for a good price.
Am I right in thinking these are washable and carry a 1,000,000 mile guarantee as well? How do you go about cleaning them?
Ahh right, I think I read somewhere that you can just carefully wipe them down with a damp sponge or cloth or something too.
I may be changing the bumper tops and arches to gloss black at some point anyway but if I change my mind I'm sure at some point I'll get them sorted. Problem is that now it's winter the days are shorter and any spraying I do would end up crap and cloudy because of drying in the cold.
I much prefer the pre 97 rear bumpers if I'm honest, they're more curvy and a bit more rounded off. I definitely think they look nicer than the post 97 rear bumpers.
EDIT: Just found this info online which has links to the cleaning kits etc. too
Just got a pollen filter as well to add to my service list. I haven't changed it since owning the car so hopefully after changing it, whenever I turn the blowers on I will no longer be able to smell the old owner (a mixture of manure and air freshener) lol.
Yeah as you can see in the list above there's not an awful lot more I want to do to it really. Just a few small touches that should hopefully help to bring it all together
Yeah I've got to wait a week or two for Silverrocket to post his out. I know they're far more common than the mesh grill but they have a better fit so I thought I'd see how it looks on my car
On reflection i wish when i bought mines i got the white ones instead. Cleaner look than the blue, but i'm not paying another £25 to change colour! haha
Yeah it can all start getting quite expensive if you change your mind lol.
I got my boot light and 3rd brake light fitted earlier today too.
