Hi

I have a 2011 1.3 cdti (90bhp) start/stop ecoflex Corsa with an intermittent warning light. (The yellow spanner light - Service vehicle soon). It's a real pain as it disables the start/stop system.

It always clears when I fill up the tank with diesel but pretty much always comes back on within a day or two.

Vehicle had a full service 3 months ago, no fault codes ever register on a cheap Bluetooth scanner.


Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Welcome to the Forum.

It seems odd that it comes on when you fill up the tank.
The only thought that I can come up with, is that the service interval counter has not been re-set after a service, but I wouldn't think that that would affect the stop/start, or be affected by adding fuel.

As this doesn't show up as a fault on a standard OBD-II port does anyone know of any cheap scanners that will read the fault?

Or any reason why a fault is likely to clear after refueling?
