Been browsing about for a decent 2.0 Corsa on Ebay, as I might buy one when the time comes to change my trusty 1.2

Saw this yesterday:

Apparently it needs a remap. Is this a complex thing to sort out?

The location of the car is just down the road from me. I'm gutted I haven't got the money

remap is a garage job, resets the fuel +air mixutre in the ecu i thinks?

Just a different coloured spark plug cover.

As Lee said, just a different colour....it's evidently a C20XE, unmistakable. The term Redtop is just a description of the engine as it came standard....with a 'red top' coincidentally :laugh: A lot of people colourcode the spark cover to the car colour, just a simple mod. My brother has C20XE Cavalier SRi with the standard red.

Rare to see a C20XE converted Corsa regged with the DVLA as such, expect massive insurance premiums. Lovely car though, I wouldn't mind owning it.

c20s in certain late vauxhalls had a black plug cover and it was stamped ecotec so that it matched in with there new range of engines, thats a nice car and not bad for the money either
