Evening all. First post so go easy on me. Hope I'm putting this in the right place.

I need to replace the MFD (multi-function-display) unit on my 1993 Corsa B. I've found a thread here in the forum which has a photo showing how to undo two screws behind the heater vents:-

I've managed to get the screws undone by poking a screwdriver through the vents but now one's fallen down inside. In the photo linked above, the vents are rotated down, leaving a clear gap to access the screws. I can't seem to get my vents to rotate that far. Should I be using more force or is there a clip/catch/thingy to be released to allow more rotation.
Many thanks.

You can actually remove the vents. You need to use a little leverage on the side of the vent to pop it out of its clip once its at the stage in the pics. If you havent got it down as far as that then you need to use a little more force as they can be abit tricky. Just keep at it and they will pop out.

I hate taking those vents out, especially after colour coding the centre piece!
