Hi,

I've got an extra temperature gauge laying around and I'd like to install it in my car.

My question is where can I install the sensor without changing anything on the car. I want to keep all existing sensor where they are.

Also I don't have a mounting nut, will this be a problem?

I know I can install it on the radiator hose but I don't want to do that, I want a more accurate reading from the engine.

I've got the 1.4L Corsa B (3-door)

Thanks for any help.

What sensor have you got? If you don't want to install it T'ed in with a hose you should remove the engine and drill and tap the block in a water line.
Thanks for the reply.

It's a mechanical gauge. I don't want to drill a hole in the engine, so if there isn't an extra hole I can use I'll just leave it, or I'll get the hose adapter.
