Right so basically, im in desperate need for some alloys for my corsa c. its a 1.0 and 2000 reg plate. i want some 15" alloys but, i was talking to someone and they said that i might have to do something with my wheel arches?! :S help!

As long as they're vauxhall alloys with ET49 offset or close to, you'll be fine.
