best method for lowering?

I recently purchased front and back lowering springs for my corsa c.

60mm drop on front and 100mm on back. I know all the facts about that changing weight distribution etc. My main concern is, will standard shocks make do for that degree of drop?

also should I attempt to do it myself or take it too a garage?

may just stick with standard shocks for now and and if I nacker them, then invest in some decent ones.

Thanks for the feed back though. I appreciate it.
