hey folks am in the middle of welding my bonnet so its a bad boy but im also gonna weld a plate over the wee other bit of the bonnet if use get me? woz just wondering if i would b able 2 open my bonnet with ease and wot type of grill would fit best? as i said the bonnet is gettin welded right now so need 2 no soon guys.thnx in advance

i dont quite get what you mean...

you can weld anything over the front, but you cant go over the "back" of then bonnet as it will open into the scuttle/cowl.

Do you mean weld a piece across where the front grill is?

I can't see why you wouldn't still be able to open it ok.
And as for the grills I would imagine any would fit fine as the welded part actually sits over where the grill is.

It's lovely isn't it.
Depo headlights, welded grill area, aftermarket plain grill, then an irmscher splitter bonded and smoothed to a smoothed post 97 bumper.

You can get the grills really cheap off ebay Dearing.

i got it from ebay there only for 97 on modle's but il make it fit.
it was £12 + p+p

Just get a post 97 bumper, saves any hassle.

Can get a post 97 bumper from £20 onwards if you look hard enough.
