Be careful getting it powder coated. There was a thread on CS recently where a powder coated cover caused thousands of £'s worth or damage to a c20let engine.
It was caused by the inside of the cover being powdercoated aswell as the outside. Once it was bolted on and the engine was running for a while, the coating started to break off and cause major problems to the engine.

IIRC the argument was that it shouldn't have been powdercoated on the inside.

to be honest it shouldnt be powdercoated in the inside anyway, most powdercoaters cover the inside with some kinda wax so that the coating only sticks on to the bits its ment to why yuo would want the inside sones beyond me

That's what I didn't understand, why would you powdercoat the inside?
