Hey looking for some info.
I have a vauxhall corsa c 2003 1.2 16v
Just the other day it died and I found the problem, the bottom hose from the radiator had popped off..

Car then had every warning light possible come on and died. battery too.

Have fix the pipe checked everything over and filled with coolant so after getting a jump and doing a obd check it had injector fault but that was a stored fault which wasnt deleted at last check. so never got any explanation to the problem the car was trying to start but was squeeling like a pig but still no turn over. anyone got any ideas what this could be..

any help to fixing this would be helpfull.

The hose coming off the rad wouldn't make the car stop, only if it ran dry and seized the engine.. I'd be worried about now tbh

So the squilling noise would be the engine attempting to move then i guess. all pulleys turn alternator ac etc..

or would an engine change just solve my problem?

Well an engine change would solve a lot of problems, lol, but might be a bit drastic until you find what the problem is.

The squealing, can you video it or anything? It's not just the aux belt squeaking from being wet with coolant or something like that?

Tore the engine to bits and found out the head is goosed.
So looking at a rebuild or an engine change.
If anyone knows of anyone that has an engine for sale. Cash waiting.

Engine is z12xe..... 1.2 petrol.... 16valve
