I read in the paper today that all the laws on driving have been changed and now its 6 points min for speeding and all the fines have doubled has anyone heard this or got any info on the new laws? :shocked:

They've changed the rules on speeding tickets slightly...there's no way you can try and get out of a speeding ticket now by saying "I don't know who was driving at the time"...cos they'll stick six points on your license if they get a successful prosecution :shocked:

and also doubled the fine payable for speeding along with other fines have been doubled as well, not too sure which ones now.

And as we all know speed cameras are just for our safety, nothing to do with increasing revenue....
