My Corsa I purchased this year seems to just eat fuel is there any thing I can do to help reduce cost expiring out of control or this car must go..........?

What MPG are you getting? Has it been recently serviced?

I'm getting about 43mpg average

Its was serviced at the end of January this year, don't think we are getting 43 miles per gallon.

I'm putting it into my local garage next week to have this looked at!

Just have a quick calculate of what MPG you're getting when you next fill up and see if it's way below what you should be getting

I'm getting around mid 40's with sensible driving and high 30's if I'm late for work a lot.

If you drive like a maniac, then you won't get good mileage.
