hi chaps.. couple of questions about my car.. firstly the starter.. sometimes it turns nice and quick and starts instantly.. other times its really really slow turning over and then picks up speed and starts after awhile.. any diagnosis??

second of all.. my gear stick makes horrible vibrating noises when in neutral...like the linkages are touching engine bay.. is it possible??
