I have a Vauxhall Corsa B (1994) Auto - Merit - 1.4i and the dashboard instrument lights (speedo, oil, fuel) are really dim at night time and the heater controls and surrounding knobs dont work at all. I was going to replace the bulbs but wasnt sure that was the case with them being dim.

Can anybody help? any advise is very much appreciated.

Have you turned the instrument panel lights switch dimmer down? It's the little roller by the light switch.
Also, the bulbs for the heater are crap and blow...best to replace with T10 LED blulbs

HI,

Agree with Michael, sounds like you have two unrelated faults

Dash Pod lights are on dimmer (which could be faulty ) - replace main headlight switch

Heater lights blow regularly - strip out heater facia and replace ( great tutorial on here )
