hi all im new here im looking at buying a corsa b sport 1.4 with the intention to convert the engine i was looking at building a c20ne turbo but this does look quite expensive so i am now thinking about a z20let for it what would i need apart from the mounts engine ecu loom drive shafts is there anything else i would need apart from the basics also what else could i do to get a reliable 300 to 350 bhp all help is very much appreicated

spare underware would be a good start, have you ever driven one with that much power ? you'd spend more time burning rubber rather than moving a 2.0l redtopis a nice up grade and you can get arond 250bhp out of them for less money

The Z20LET into a B hasn't been done much. You need to mess around with the fly by wire throttle the zlet uses and the cable throttle the corsa uses. And there's a few other issues.
Doable but hard work. The c20let goes in much easier, but they're old and expensive.

i had 231bhp from an xe:

295 deg cams
head ported
btb exhaust
twin 45 webers.

and tbh it was shit.

z20let, x20xev throttlebody, f28 box, and standalone management.

dude just get the c20ne engine standard ecu, seh cam, turbo, run at 7psi or .5 bar cream injectors, biggist intercooler you can, fpr and it will produce around 170 bhp for about £400, if you sorce parts smartly less
