Okay..

I bought this stereo unit from halfords.. Some Sony X something something
and i fitted it as normal no problems at all.. Except it has one fault.

It doesn't retain the memory? I've checked the fuse connected to the stereo and that's not a problem.. Yet every time i leave the car and turn the ignition of the memory on it just disappears and i have to re-setup everything all over again..

My dad seems to think it's a permanent power loom issues.. But then again he thinks he knows everything.. Any ideas or suggestions?

The yellow and red wires in the loom will have bullet connectors, swap them so it's yellow into red and red into yellow..

Cheer's i'll try it out next time i've got 5 minutes spare.. it more than likely is a permenant loom issue.. But then again he thinks that my oil leak is something to do with my gear box lol

To be honest my pioneer stereo did the same so i swapped the lives around on the bullet connection and mines works and keeps memory fine

Okay well i swapped the red and the yellow... all it did was blow the fuse and now it won't even turn on

(yes ive replaced the fuse)

Really that's weird cus one is permanently live and one is for the memory so cant see why it did it will ave a think
