I'm guessing this will be an 8v engine - in which case the answer is usually no. (Though I do recall hearing of a different design of rear cover which did allow it - can't remember the details offhand - but it's obvious once you look at it if the belt and sprockets have to come off as usual.)
Yer, it's a bit of a silly idea, just as a ruff guide what has to be removed? Am guessing after the 10 min look I had, aux belt, front timing cover, timing belt, poss camshaft pully?? And ovs rear cover? Anything else
