I've just bought a new timing belt and tensioner for my corsavan. However, the new tensioner is not the same as the one in the picture that was displayed on the computer screen in the vauxhall dealer's where I bought the belt and tensioner.

One of their machanics came out and said that this is a new kit for my model and it should go strieght in. The new tensioner is just a round thing that looks like a sping-loaded bearing. The one in the picture has an arm on it.

I've not taken mine out yet so I don't even know what is in mine. Has anyone had this experience? Can anyone tell me if this 'new' tensioner will go strieght in?

All advice appriciated, cheers

they would do the same job, so maybe the new bearing is larger than the one on the arm. but in all honesty. you can't really tell until you see what's on your engine alreaady
