before i start, thankyou in advance

i have a problem

i bought a corsa c 51 plate but the heater blower wont work

warm air comes out but only if you drive super fast down the motorway and yet it still only come out not much.

maybe its the motor? the fuse? the resistor? i dont know. but i got a multimeter on it and it reads 14v going to the motor when the switch is on 4, and 0v when its on 1 2 or 3, so maybe the resistor is broke then?

but wouldnt the motor still spin when its on 4 and there is 14v going to it??

maybe the motor AND the resistor is broken??

anyhting else to try? cheers matt

My thoughts are that the heter motor has gone, but in doing so has taken out your resistor pack. Take the motor out and rig it to the battery. if it runns then your only looking at a resistor pack. though saying that have you looked at the switch to see if it is not gubbed???
