hey all was wondering wat the best way was as im doing it tomoz and have heard a few different methods such as hairdryers and hot water. wats the best way to remove the glue afterwards as well?

hairdryer is best to remove badges etc, autoglym tar remover is best to remove the glue, soak the glue a couple of times and it comes straight off and for the stubborn bits of glue try petrol. it took me best part of the day to debadge,remove glue and wash/polish car.:thumbs_up:

i used a hairdryer and then just washed throughly to get the glue off. The washing did take some effort though

Another method is to use dental floss to cut through the glue (in a sawing motion).

Either way just be really careful.

easiest way and simplest way i found was what lee said with the dental floss and warm water (quite hot) withthe saw motion... then hand pick the glue off afterwards and wash...

And yes be very carefull

i used one of these...

fudge/toffee wheel, soo much easier than without one, took about 20min to debadge and remove rubbing strips..
