Corsa b 1.2 sxi 16v wouldnt start its been out of action since my freind put the battery on the wrong way around, Done this so far,

Ripped out immo
Ripped out alarm
Checked all wirring
replaced whole ecu kit
checked Fuses

I was close to giving up and Breaking it for parts
Yesturday I jacked it up took out the crank shaft sensor, Cleaned it and stuck it back in

car Started first time ? What the hell, I only cleaned it
It was running smoothly then it stalled :(,it Didnt stall like No fuel it stalled like it died in a milisecond It stalled like it does if you just dissconnect the Plugs if you know what i meen?

Then it wouldnt turn over went back to just the starter motor turning :(
It's Confusing I meen This morning again i left it how it was

It started the first time again :/
I turned it off to stop it stalling after 2 mins of it being on
Tried to turn it back on (nothing happened) just back to starter motor turning
Also the throttle while revving it very Delayed And the first inch of throttle does nothing, :/

Yes there is %100 Fuel in the tank, I put another £5 in just to make sure lol,
It will Proberably start tomorow morning then wont start untill the next day

Fauly Crank shaft Sensor?

The symptoms do sound like a crank shaft sensor being jippy... but also i would question the integrity of the ECU seeing as its had 12v connected to it backwards... Doesnt do electricals any good that, lol...
Yeah i'm pretty sure its the crank-S, after it was blown i replaced the whole ecu kit, Didnt work for 2 weeks untill i fiddled with the crank-s :D cheers Drag, ive pretty much narrowed it down

Spark Plugs = Fine
Coil pack = Fine
Ecu Kit = fine
Wiring = fine
battery = fine
Immobilizer = Gone ;)
Alarm = Gone ;) (for now while testing)
Fuses = Fine

Crank Shaft sensor = ? =o

you say you changed ecu? did you change the immob chip in your key to match the immob code of the ecu?

If you didnt that would be an issue.
That would explain why it does when it does start

Nah its not that
There is No immo in the car :p i removed it :)
And the ecu kit i got was the same and its genuine, I got the chip the ecu and the barrel with it :)

thanks
Aaah ok, thats fair enough then, just covering all possibilities, in that case i'd still lean towards crank sensor

Yup, I meen Its weird The way If i start it in the morning it wont start untill the next morning, tried it late at night Same day but nothing xD

Allmost as if its on a timer LOL, i know that's kinda impossible :S
Then I thought its only a sensor :p
Got a new battery since its not been working, The batt was dead tonight from attempts on turning it over so Im charginng it fully tonight and gonna see if it stalls again tomorow
im 15 And in the morning i love revving my car xD
