Is the ECU port on a 1.0 b compatible with OBD2?

Need to get error codes for this Engine management light flicking on and off *yawn*

Yes its OBD2. (16valves and of course, 12, chain driven) are OBD2 and 8valves are KWP2000 and wont work on a gammy £19.99 of chinas finest code readers.

actually the 1.2 16v and 1.0 12v dont work on cheapo readers, only opcom. due to the ecus used.

So if I was to say, "a friend has a OBD2 reader" it would make no difference at all...
