My 99 Corsa B (3 Cyl) has suddenly got very loud & thirsty, suspecting a hole or crack around the manifold area, I took off the heat shield for a look. There's no sign of anything suspicious but I noticed that if I push up on the Cat from underneath, the noise seems to lessen.
What way is the manifold / flange attached to the Cat, as there must be some play at where they connect causing the noise?
any help appreciated.
