This is one thing that annoys me on corsa's the check strap pins wear and causes an annoying knocking when opening/closing doors and makes them
Swing back into you when pushed open.
Done MOK and also the mrs car.

So first of all, I bought 4 from Vauxhall. Nice and cheap

Old one

Then I use pliers under the pin, and whack the pliers with a hammer, this knocks the pin out.

Old vs new

The hit new ones in from above with pliers and hammer like before.

And job done

Clean area afterwards.

Done both cars in under 10 mins. No more knocking

Where can you order these? I know people say a dealership but I'm wondering if there is anywhere on the internet as I don't really have time and the creaking is doing my head in!

You don't have time to go to a dealership and have them in your hand the next working day?? But you do have time to post on an internet forum, wait an undetermined amount of time for a reply, and then order them from a random supplier, wait for them to process that order, then wait for the postal system to deliver that order, when you may or may not be at home to recieve them?

right, so if he works during the time the dealers open.. doesnt really have time to go to a dealer, at weekends he could be busy, doing other things.

That just makes the world ****ed.
