hi , im at my wits end for the past few months water has been gathering under my feet whilst driving and the back passenger seats are absolutely soaking , ive had the door seals checked and they seem to be fine but ive been told it could be blocked drains (if thats the correct term ),, the mechanics ive spoken to say that they dont have the time to check where the water is coming from as its time consuming.anyone on the forum got any ideas of cost and the time it would normally take to get the problem fixed , the car is mechanically sound apart from this as passed mot np, its a 54 plate , cheers for any feedback and help , glasgow area

water

Hi if you check the forums the answer is that the Brake servo has a seal round the backing plate, This falls apart over the years and allows water in..It's a pain to fix but fairly easy to do if you have a the right torx and socket sets...You cant just silicone around the servo as it's impossible to get to the bottom right side and that's where most of the leak occurs...use this link to show you how to fix it, although i'd do it undercover in this weather or just put a bin bag around the back of servo until march or april next year when it's warmer lol.and i'll help you do it..new brake servo gasket required and watch out for the brake lights sticking on...good luck http://carsandcode.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/corsa-c-water-leak-challenge.html
