For years I have been online with my main computer hard wired, I wanted to go on demand on the tele so fitted a wireless router and every thing is working fine. I have a old laptop that was given to me from my grandson that I only use for vehicle diagnostics, but I thought now I am on wireless why not go online with the laptop (my server is talktalk) I connected to talktalk but it is asking for a address where do I find this and where do I put it, this problem is stopping me going online with the laptop.

It could be looking for the password on your router.

If its an old laptop does it have a wireless function?

You can normally set a wireless network up by going to Control panel, then Network and Internet then Network and Sharing, then set up a new account, you will need to search for the wireless name and enter the code on the router. Or by right clicking on the signal strength bit on the task bar, then search and adding router password
