Hello i'm new here, i'm confident my Timing chain cover gasket needs replacing, last year i replaced the water pump and there was no sign of oil leaking, now there is a lot of oil around the water pump and on the air con compressor, its not the oil pressure sensor, could be crank seal not checked it properly yet. i have checked my oil filler cap and there is mayo in there but only a tiny bit, barely noticeable ! There is no signs of head gasket on its way out, no starting problems, no rough running, no overheating, no smoke from the exhaust either, so i'm hoping it is just timing chain cover gasket and not head gasket. Just wondering if anyone has changed one of these gaskets, will i need to take off the head ? remove the oil sump ? or change the crank seal ?
Any advice would be appreciated
