Honda Civic Type-R

Just under 12 months MOT
Taxed till end of March
80, 287 miles on the clock (I have not verified this)

Engine:
The engine is the standard K20A2 engine, making around 200bhp. It is standard except for a K&N typhoon induction kit (full hard-pipe kit not just a cone filter)
It also benefits from a Honda battery

Exterior:
Generally good condition except a few age related marks, and some peeling lacquer around the fuel flap (not bad at all). The factory 17" wheels are generally good condition, there are no massive chunks missing from kerbing. The tyres are very good all round.

Interior:
Original Type-R front seats in good condition (no split bolster just minor wear)
OEM Honda Type-R mats
Decent Sony CD player with auxillary input, 4x45w power output and detachable fascia
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Factory Honda remote central locking kit with key fob
Build number on the plaque is #266

General:
Car starts every time and drives well, however it has developed a small rattle, sounds to me like something on the top-end like a sticking tappet. It's not particularly loud and it still runs, but has not been driven since just as a precaution. It has not lost any oil. The price of £1800 therefore reflects this, otherwise I would be asking £3,000 for the car. The price is not negotiable. So please don't haggle or ask for a "best price".

On that note I'd like to say I'm really not going to bother with timewasters, tyre kickers or Jeremy Kyle show contestants. You will be asked to leave.

Genuine buyers are however very welcome.

Hi, I am interested in the car, is there anything else that you could tell me about the car? What taxation band it is in? Were there any advisories on the insurance for example? ... Is there any negotiation on price? Sorry, just re-read and noticed you put not negotiable

Shit, meant MOT advisories.. Was just a question seeing as it would say it in the windscreen, saves me having to look, just laziness I suppose.

I'm interested, just miles seem way too high and can't afford something that may potentially break... if a diagnostic was done on the noise I'd be very interested

you interested in swapping for stuff, i.e good spec c20let engine and parts fully running in a corsa b
Yeah I'd be up for that. PM on the way.

80k is low mileage for the year, I'm not sure what you mean by "way too high".

It's also priced accordingly, ie a grand under what it should be. That should cover any engine repair and then some!

Got to agree with party there, mileage is good for age its 12 years old... less than 10k a year. honda engines last over 150k easy! (if looked after)

Assuming worst case - ie it's a timing chain rattle or a sticking lifter, I bet Honda would do either of them for under £500 all in.

= One cheap Type-R

Decide for yourself...

Case for me being a pikey:
- I weigh in quite a bit of scrap metal
- I have had a sexually transmitted infection
- I like Vauxhalls
- I have a tattoo of a whore on my arm, and want more

Case against me being a pikey:
- I listen to classic FM
- I vote conservative
- I'm not Irish
- I've never owned a dog
- Last time I weighed in any batteries I went to the scrapyard in a 911
- I prefer spirits to beer
- I play squash
- My girlfriend does not have a large vagina
- I have no experience in tarmac driveways
- I don't like R&B music
