Easy. Locate the air box, (left side engine bay) from there follow the pipes and you'll find a hard plastic tube with a sensor out of it, either side of that will be a jubale clip (7mm to remove) and also remove the plug. Done

No. There are two types of sensor used in MAF devices. The type used by Toyoata (for example) can be cleaned. The type Vauxhall use don't like being cleaned. Often it damages the sensor.

The only time it's worth cleaning a Vx MAF is when you know it's stuffed and then you've got nothing to lose. Sometimes it works - it's just the risk of damage makes it not something to do unless you don't mind chucking it anyway.

If you do spray cleaner into it then let it dry thoroughly before refitting. Connecting with cleaner on the element will damage it.
