Hi there,

Unfortunately, mindless hooligans completeley destroyed my n/s wing mirror by wrenching it off the car.

I have bought the replacement unit, and understand that it is quite easy to replace, as it has 3 screws that i will need to attach.

The problem I have is, does anyone know how to remove the plastic bit that is INSIDE the car that covers the wing mirror fixings?? I have tried to pull it, even gently tried to lever it off with a screwdriver, but no joy!

It is a Corsa C, n/s wing mirror, electric.

Thanks guys!

u need to keep the door open and use a fork or a or sumthing thin and that will not bend,,,go to the closest corner of the window (on the inside)where the plastic needs to be removed and then with some force it will just clip off,,but dont pull too hard if its not removing,,try each corner of plastic abit at a time,,
