how long have you left the coats to dry andy?

in my opinion that could be your trouble.. whenever i have left paint to drive i leave it in room temperature as too much heat could cause bubbling, cracking etc as the paint is still wet.

Aye, I'd suggest at least over night - 24 hours at normal room temp. no external heat source

yes its not the firstthing iv painted iv been painting bits for a few years and my brothers been painting cars for a few years so not really new to it theres defanelty something on the boot lock which the paint doesnt like as the mirrors were done at the same time same method and same cans of paint

why didnt you use pre-paint then?

i had the same problem when spraying my mates bumpers the other week i just sanded it right back an build the paint up in thinner layers.

No pre paint is a cleaner to get rid of all contamination :thumbs_up:

There's silica in the industrial glue they use. Make sure and remove all traces then wipe with panel wipe or gun wash ( bodyline standard thinners )

It's easy enough to follow without pictures anyway, I did it, couple of pics in my project thread below.

Took me three attempts to get good but the first time was alright, bit of a perfectionst sometimes
