Good evening all,

I do hope someone can help. I've just changed the rocker gasket on my Corsa 1998 1.4. Upon start-up the engine revs rise to 2000 and stay there and the engine control indicator illuminates and stays on. Any advice would be much appreciated. I also still have the leak in exactly the same place too (for good measure!)

Sounds like you either knocked the connection for the idle control valve or got something not fitted right on the throttle body. Check all the connections and vacuum pipes.
