Hi all

Being noticing on a lot of newish cars nowadays that when the driver indicates and turns, the foglight on that side comes on for a brief time then fades away as they drive on.
Just wondering if anybody knew of a way this could be achieved with aftermarket foglights for example.

Many thanks
Pydeeny.

Thanks for the replies.
Your right I don't need it but it was more of a technical exercise I was looking at than a necessity.

If its ecu work though I don't think I'll bother.

Many thanks

Your indicator stalk provides a current when switched. Could this not be used to trigger a relay on a timer?
Yes. But you would also have your fog lights activated when using your hazzard lights. You need something to sense the amount you are turning or an accelerometer to measure the G force in the turn to decide wheather or not to turn the fog light on.

If I remember rightly, this 'feature' is for when driving ountry roads ect at night - your headlights only point forward, this 'feature' helps you see obstacles in the road you may be turning into on bends ect
