Some of you may have noticed there is now an extra field in your user profiles and postbits, and also a drop down box on the Navbar..
This is the iTrader system.

It is an ebay type feedback system for the classified section.
Any time a transaction has taken place, be it between buyer, seller or even trader, feedback can be left for that transaction.

The main purpose of the system is to eliminate fraudulent transactions and promote genuine transactions by use of the feedback system.

The one thing that I need to know is did you both input the thread link on it?
I just don't want there to be a risk of people getting free feedback.

It's ok thanks Mattie, I'm already half way through one.
It states in the release notes that a thread link is needed, yet it states in the box that it's optional.

All sales need to have a come from a thread in either the trader section, cars for sale, or parts for sale sections.
Any private sales with no reference thread URL cannot be used with iTrader.

This is to stop people just giving each other bogus feedback.

Have you not got any for sale threads open?

If not then I will have to alter the settings.

It's ok I've changed the settings to make a URL mandatory.
We now have a problem though. This forum has an SEO URL hack installed.
iTrader doesn't like the way the URL's are and so will not recognise the URL when it is inputted.

I'm trying to find a fix for this so in the mean time it's not fully functional.

The reason I insist on making adding the thread URL mandatory is to stop bogus feedback being left, otherwise there would be no use in using the system.

Good point Lee, if you have a question with any of my feedback let me know, or anything I've left, because IIRC these are the only ones that have been used so far.
