my girlfirends car (escort mark 5)was broken into the other nite didnt nick nufink just made a mess,pop the window and fu*cked the key barrel up so dose anyone no how to put a new one in i have got one all ready to go in just dont no how to put it in any help would be great please thanks

i dont think anyone has any idea about the escort key barrel maybe you would be best to just start trying it on your own and see how it goes .

av a look at y new barrel, put key in nturn it to 2nd or 1st click then the securing pin should go down, match new barrel to old 1 to locate this pin then when you press this pin u should b able 2 pull out the damaged 1,other than that, take biggest hammer you can find and good flat head or chisel an hit the old 1 untill it bleeds and falls out, sounds ruff but it will make u feel like a man and its fun lol, thats how i did em at the dealership neways
