Just bought a corsa c 2001a few weeks ago and noticed under the boot carpet theres a thin layer if water lying, is it a common fault ? Is there a easy fix ?

Had this with a B I had a few years back. Best to check the boot seal firstly, and then the seal for the rear lights to make sure they aren't passing water. You could even sit in the boot whilst someone hoses the car to see if you can see any water ingress. Hope you get to the bottom of it Enjoy your new car.

Thanks rustyruss, ill have a look/go tomorrow and hopefully find it cause the carpets rotten and thanks a will do !
