Hello,

I have a 02 reg 1.2 Corsa SXI.

I took it to a body repair shop to knock out some dents on the left side. However when I picked it up I noticed the left wing mirror seemed to loose and bounces around when driving meaning use of the mirror is practically impossible.

I'm not sure if it was damaged by another car or a person but there are no visible scratches.

Anybody know how to get at the inside to tighten up the lock nut?

I had that problem a couple of weeks ago, before starting to take everything apart which I was going to do just check the glass hasn't came away from the back plate. Only the sticky had just dried up on Mine which allowed the glass to blow about but the back plate was in tacked.
If you carefully use a fine screwdriver around the edge of the mirror to see if it has come away, if it has I just used a couple dots of super glue around the edge to stick it back
