Sorry i hvnt posted in a long time working away sucks

Just recently ive noticed a small rattle getting louder shortly after my mot i had it looked at by my freind in a garage, he has told me me my cat is on its way out (basically fallen to pieces) cing as it proves a problem to me as the noise is rather annoying on pull away.

I have been given a few choices:
1.New cat but its a poxy manifold cat (expensive)
2.Cut the cat out and sleve it with some stainless pipe
3.my dads mate has offerd 2 make me a complete exhasut system for £300 pound 4-2-1 mainfold striaght through pipe to a ice new remus roll tipped back box all in stainless.

Any help on the best simple method dat will last me i would like the full system but will it help me out or just make thingfs very loud. sorry that was so long Matt

I recently had the cat replaced on my B - they just cut the old one out and welded in a new one - didn't cost much and the car ran MUCH better after it was done.

That's what I would recommend, get the old one cut out and a second hand one welded in.
