Hey guys..

I'm wanting to upgrade my 5450HD to somthing that will actually perform alittle better but not exactly a shitetonne of money.

I have found on eBay a EVGA 8800GT 512mb for less than 20 quid. I know this will perform much better then my current card and I have managed to find videos of this card running BF3 (Single Player) in med graphics. I'm not exactly someone who cares mainly about graphics but when I get lagg even on low it's starting to bug.

What do you guys think about getting this card?

cant go wrong for that price. as you say it wont run any recent games on high, but it'll run them better than your current card

You should be able to get an even better one for that sort of price.

I can find some decent cards on ebay or elsewhere.. But most of them come from the USA, So the postage does it over.

Actually looking this up, the 8800GT is faster than this, only by a few fps on benchmarks. But if i manage to get this cheaper than the 8800GT i can't complain.
