My car alarm has had this habit of just randomly going off the past few days. Ive checked to see if there is a fly inside or anyfin and theres not. Does any1 know whats going on as this is really annoying me. Especially as I leave it in a car park most days when I'm at college so the car park attendants will be constantly running backwads and forwards to it.

Just the standard one that comes on the Corsa Sport. The alarm is just the horn repeatedly.

Might be something to do with the ecu, or the battery may be flat.

Is it common then for it to keep going off when battery is running flat. Does it just work the same as a smoke alarm in your house? lol

lol I aint 100% sure since its just what I learnt when my alarm kept going off, I think it is more that the alarm goes off since there is a drop in power going to the alarm, this would indicate someone is trying to cut the battery to try and stop the alarm going off.

Right, so you think i should get the battery changed then? How much does this usually cost?
