Hey guys, I'm new here and going to be an active member!
Here's my corsa merit 1996 1.2,with the following mods.
PICTURES AT BOTTOM
Exterior
-Full gloss black respray - was white previously!
-Custom body kit;
Rear bumper, front bumper, doors, wheel arches, side skirts, bonnet.
All parts have been smoothed in , you can't see the difference!
-Door handles and boot handle have been removed and filled.
There is now an electric button on the underside of the wingmirrors to open the door, and button inside to open the boot.
-Alloys

Interior
-Leather seats/front&back - Recaro
-Carpets and ceiling re-done
-Dash and doors leathered/sprayed
-Sports steering wheel/pedals.
-Boost gauge/oil temp/volt meter
-Speaker pods / fibreglass, custom
-Bass enclosure / fibreglass, custom

Sound System
-Two JBL 1500w amps
-Two Infinity 12" Subs
-Two Infinity 16x9's
-Two Infinity 5x5's
-Two Edge 5x5's
-Two Infinity tweeters
Two digital capacitors, crossovers, equalisers.

Engine Mods
There aren't too many engine mods as this was a project to make it look nice&sound the part rather than drive extremely fast, as it's only a 1.2.
-Bullet air filter
-NGK sparks
-lowering springs
-full stainless steel sport exhaust

I may get round to doing a full engine rebuild, but let's see how my wallet feels!:laugh:

hiya mate,
Just seen ya pics, nice car just wondering what was the paint you used for the interior? did you need to use a primer? or just straight on?

Hi gez, I used primer&paint, and for the bass enclosure/door pods I also used gloss, can't exactly remember what brand!
My friend has sprayed his interior without primer, looks fine, just make sure there's no dirt!

About a year, luckly i'm only at college 3 days a week so I had a lot of time to get it done.
Been up till 8 in the morning some days though=D

Is there much point in a boost guage if you don't have a Turbo.
Looks like you've put a lot of hard work into it, but I gotta say, I for one am not a fan of the interior...it's very lairy, and body kits just don't work for me! sorry!

I'm hoping to change the colour of the interior, I also find it lairy, the bodykit was purely for the fact I dislike non-colour coded bumpers!
Sorry, I got mixed up , there's no boost gauge, only a volt/temp, the boost is in my FTO w/turb
What does everyone else think of the bodykit? I tried going for a less 'chavy' look, but it's not that achievable!

You cant get a not chav look with a chav bodykit,

You have put alot of work into the and you must be proud, but it looked better before IMHO

But your car your choice, but at the same time its god awfull

very nice attention to detail, i'm sure it took alot of time/money to get it all together..that being said,

sorry i think its uglier then sin. never liked body kits that much personally looks to wide for the wheels but can't really tell, eyes feel like they bleed at the brightness of the interior but hey, I am not a big fan of full show cars.

keep up the intricate detail work though.
