Hi all
I wonder if anyone can help, we have an '02 Corsa SRI, it has had the battery light on since buying the car over a year ago, it had a new battery fitted about 5 months ago but yesterday the alternator died so it went straight to the garage and had a new one fitted. At first the battery light came on and the battery wasn't charging but we switched the car off and back on and the light went out and the battery was charging so all ok.
However this morning the light is back on, if it was the belt wasn't right then presumably the light would be on all of the time, so my next guess would be a dodgy connection somewhere in which case is there usually a likely candidate for where to look or is it something totally different?
Thanks guys:confused:

Dodgy diode in alternator? I bought a second hand one once and this was the cause.

Ask the place to check it out (under guarentee)
