Hey
I've just got my car back from MOT, I've had to have new front suspension springs fitted on the front and I've noticed whilst going over speed bumps a clunking noise. Is this normal for new springs?
Help me, I'm a female that hasn't got a clue :)

Welcome to the Forum.

New springs shouldn't make any extra noises if the are correctly fitted.

Is it possible that the noise was there before the springs were fitted, but you didn't notice it?
If the answer to the above is, "Yes", then it is possible that the noise is coming from suspension mountings or from shock absorbers.

If you are quite sure that the noise wasn't there previously, take it back to the people who fitted the springs and ask them to check it out for you.

Regards.
