Hello Guys

I have an opel corsa c 1.4 16v 2000 130.000km starts and drives fine
I have checked it with an obd reader and i got the code P0230 which is related to fuel pomp relay i think
I changed the fuel relay the purple one on the fuse box in the engine bay but i still have that code
If the engine is on when i read the codes i dont get that code but if not i get the code
And the fuel pomp does not stop when the key is on position
My friend has a corsa too and the fuel pomp stops just few seconds after he turns the key on

Hi there if its a Petrol, the pump should stop after about 3 seconds, if it runs all the time it sounds like its on Limphome mode...i suggest clear the codes and see what happens, i tried to clear the codes on mine with a normal eobd code reader and it left one in there it wouldn't clear, i would either clear them with an offcom unit or try disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour, see if that helps...Fred in Essex.
