Hey Guys, just wondering im wanting to paint my callipers and drums on my car but the main question is do I need to tell my insurance company because it could be classed as a modification, if you get what mean.

Cheers guys :D

I would. They will probably just say not to worry, but they may charge you an extra £20 + £25 admin fee + VAT.

Either way, you should tell them, otherwise a loss adjuster could void the insurance claim because they were painted and you never told them.

I really can't see them being bothered.
You gonna start declaring that youve used a different tyre to OEM spec? That your oil isn't genuine GM stuff?

Also, drums should be painted black or not at all. Bright drums look stupid, it's nothing to show off.
I'd only do the calipers if they were big brakes.

Wouldn't bother personally, and agree with above
